About

Wipro Givon is a manufacturer of structural components and mechanical systems for the aerospace industry, specializing in precision machining, assembly, sheet metal, welding, finish-processing and more.

Givon was founded in the early 1970s by Haim Givon as a work shop for various types of machining.

In the early 1990s, Ronen Givon, Haim's son, joined the company, and together they led a strategy focusing on aerospace structural components.

Over time, the company expanded into additional areas of activity, including sheet metal processing and assembly of mechanical sub-assemblies.

In 2008, as part of the company's growth strategy, it was acquired by PIMI Fund.

Under Ronen Givon's leadership, the company continued to grow and win significant work packages, with a variety of leading aerospace projects, both domestically and internationally.

In 2015, Givon acquired a facility, based in Everett, WA, USA.

In 2016, the company was acquired by Wipro, a multinational conglomerate, becoming part of a leading and successful global group in the aerospace market.

Since then, the company has been committed to staying at the forefront of global technology and continues investing significant resources in technological development and the acquisition of advanced manufacturing equipment.

The company employs over 600 people worldwide, with approximately 250 employees at the Kiryat Bialik site in Israel.

The company won the Boeing Supplier of the Year Award in 2019. Wipro Givon is the first Israeli company to win this prestigious award in the aerospace industry.

The award committee cited Wipro Givon's outstanding performance in manufacturing technology, quality, on-time delivery, competitiveness, environmental stewardship, and customer service efficiency as the reasons for the win.

Ronen Givon, CEO of Wipro Givon, stated: "We are particularly proud to be the first Israeli company to win such a prestigious and important award. Boeing decided to give us an opportunity a few years ago, and we embraced it wholeheartedly. Boeing effectively 'nurtured' us to become a competitive and quality player in the global aerospace industry, and at this time, we stand by its side as a true partner."
