A manufacturer of structural components and mechanical systems for the aerospace industry — precision machining, assembly, sheet metal, welding and finish-processing, as part of the global Wipro group.
Wipro Givon is a manufacturer of structural components and mechanical systems for the aerospace industry, specializing in precision machining, assembly, sheet metal, welding, finish-processing and more.
Givon was founded in the early 1970s by Haim Givon as a workshop for various types of machining. In the early 1990s, Ronen Givon, Haim's son, joined the company, and together they led a strategy focusing on aerospace structural components.
Over time, the company expanded into additional areas of activity, including sheet metal processing and assembly of mechanical sub-assemblies. In 2008, as part of the company's growth strategy, it was acquired by PIMI Fund.
Under Ronen Givon's leadership, the company continued to grow and win significant work packages, with a variety of leading aerospace projects, both domestically and internationally. In 2015, Givon acquired a facility based in Everett, WA, USA.
In 2016, the company was acquired by Wipro, a multinational conglomerate, becoming part of a leading and successful global group in the aerospace market. Since then, the company has been committed to staying at the forefront of global technology and continues investing significant resources in technological development and advanced manufacturing equipment.
